Plans are pretty much under control for my forthcoming trip to Queensland. Take-off is next Friday for five nights in Atherton, three nights in Cairns, a 31 hour train trip to Brisbane, three nights in Brisbane, then home again. Say it quickly and it’s all over!
One thing I am not doing is the train/skyrail visit to Kuranda. Due to track work, the train is cancelled for the two days I’ll be in Cairns. Silver lining – I’ll get to do other things I would only have had time to squash in, if that.
The one thing I wanted to do in Kuranda, visit the butterfly house, can be done as I drive through there on the way to Atherton. Looking good!!
